Noto first gained prominence as one of the more optimistic technology analysts in the late '90s and early '00s. Representatives for Goldman Sachs declined to comment.Įarly in his career, however, Noto wasn't exactly viewed so pristinely. ![]() "Anthony is the rare investment banker who has sat in all three chairs, which gives him unique credibility and a well-rounded perspective that is very helpful to his clients and differentiates him from most other investment bankers." "For good reason, he is a trusted advisor to many of the technology industry's thought leaders and executive teams," said Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff, who has known Noto since the late 1990s. But, underscoring just how big of a black eye the social network's botched initial first days of trading were for both Morgan Stanley and Grimes, Twitter decided to go with Noto even though he is based in New York and not in Silicon Valley (though his Twitter account is, of course, littered with references to flights in and out of San Francisco, along with tweets about Army football and Penn's women lacrosse, where his daughter Marisa is on the team). Indeed, Twitter could have went with Morgan Stanley and its more high-profile chief technology banker Michael Grimes, who masterminded the Facebook IPO, as its chief underwriter. ![]() Twitter will be, by far, the most prominent deal for Noto, a West Point graduate with the highest grade among the academy's mechanical engineers, and a major coup for Goldman Sachs. Well, as it turns out, it will also be a big year for Noto, who landed the lead left role as the banker charged with taking Twitter public. Speaking at TechCrunch's Disrupt conference in May, Goldman Sachs banker Anthony Noto said, "I think 2014 will be a big year for consumer internet IPOs." ![]()

5/30/2023 0 Comments Mindustry discord![]() ![]() Let's not forget about the next step, which is also the features that are being worked on and features that are going to be looked/worked on in the future. Instead they decided to make a completely unnecessary balance that was requested by zero people and ended making the experience for the new player worse. And I know why this was done, it was because of veteran players stacking hundreds of weapons right? So why not giving a usefulness to weapons via trading for other resources or even special events where you use them for global competitive (or even global cooperative) leaderboards with multiple goals? Or even better, ask for the veteran players itself what they would like to see changed on the weapons to make the experience for these players less boring. So as some of you already figured out, it's a completely unnecessary change, because while the overall resources collected are going to be increased (don't forget the double up AD's are not infinite), the requirements are going to be increased as well, so for new players it will take even longer to progress because the crafting time will remain the same. Considering now you can double up runs more often instead of once every 24h, I mostly assume it's logical to be increased to somewhere around 150~200% of the original amount. If you're going to increase the requirements, at least inform us that it will be increased, not "changed". I'm not sure if the reward is still 5 trophies or not, but anyone that played the game and realized a few trades on Tiki head or played a couple survival runs know the reward is basically nothing. ![]() ![]() But once again, same problem - why not just mention what specifically is going to be changed? This whole unmentioned subtle changes is something you not only notice on the 1.80 patch, but in basically all the other patches as well. I mostly assume this is the new feature of completing challenges that give 5 trophies. Please understand that it's impossible to determine a completely human factor, because sometimes I just want to play the level in a faster speed because I want to challenge myself, sometimes I just want to play the level in a slower speed because I want to chill/play causally or try something different. It's impossible (impossible = absolute 0% chance) to always determine precisely what speed the player want for each level every time because of multiple factors, these include: overall skill, reflexes, but most importantly, preference. It's very weird that they mention multiple times in the other paragraphs that they are hearing our feedback, but they still insists on spending more resources, money, energy and time trying to find the specific speed the player "wants" instead of just making a option to change to the speed the player actually wants. Hiding this information from us gives no benefit for anyone and only make the communication issues worse. We need to know what specific boss (or bosses) were fixed and what bug that were affecting the gameplay on them was or were patched. I mostly assume this is referring to the seasonal bosses, but if a bug was successfully fixed, make it clear. "We've fixed a few bugs, mainly affecting bosses and runs" Unfortunately, this is the only change from patch notes that is well informed which also benefit players. "We're improving the user interface design and navigation" Let's make a quick summary before reaching into any conclusions: Image 4: Crash On the Run 1.80 patch notes. ![]() 5/30/2023 0 Comments Moneyspire 2018 dowload![]() ![]() Reconcile your checkbook, track credit cards, receive bill reminders, set up automatic bill pay and more.Automatically import transactions from online banking services.Review your net worth and see how you’re trending.Track your spending and produce reports detailing how you spend your money. ![]() Establish a budget (or multiple budgets).Streamline the task of money management. With Moneyspire, you can either import your accounts through Direct Connect or manually enter each one. You’ll also get fast free shipping on Amazon packages, the Prime Video service, Audible channels and Prime Music – as well as exclusive Amazon Prime Day deals. An Amazon Prime membership costs £8.99 a month (or £95 a year) and, of course, these reading benefits aren’t the only draw. Launched in 2017, this is a scaled-back version of Kindle Unlimited that gives you access to an ever-changing selection of around 1,000 popular books, magazines and comics. However, there are benefits for readers that subscribe to Amazon Prime that come in the form of “Prime Reading”. We know what you’re thinking: is Kindle Unlimited included with Prime? Sadly not, it’s a separate subscription that isn’t reliant on you having an Amazon Prime membership. This is the easy bit – if you’re convinced and you want to sign up just head to the Amazon site and click the big yellow button that’ll say something like “Sign in to view offers”, “Join Kindle Unlimited” or “Start your free trial”. You can then manage all the Kindle Unlimited titles that you are borrowing within your Amazon account. It’ll be available on all devices where you’re logged in through the Kindle app. You’ll notice that eligible books will have a button saying “Read for £0.00” on their Amazon page – click this to add the book to your list of borrowed titles. The key thing to note is that you don’t “buy” the books with Kindle Unlimited, you “borrow” them instead. But, in reality, it’s closer to an electronic library that gives bookworms access to over a million Kindle books. The files also exposed biometric data, personal information and descriptions of people who might be present during a raid with no criminal histories, TechCrunch reported. Previous reporting on the ODIN data trove found that it contained source code, police files and other material. Private security firms, tribal agencies and a church also have logins, according to files contained in the leaked data.A representative for the Marshals Service didn't respond to an inquiry seeking comment. The leaked data also appears to detail the cost of hiring ODIN: a yearly 'Gold' license costs several thousand dollars with a discount for a three-year 'Platinum' plan some are given free trials. Another is more direct: 'Demonstrate the ease of use of Sweep Wizard for Sex Offender Sweeps.' Much of the officers' writings were in the context of logging details about police raids.Ī bulk of ODIN's clients are California police departments, according to the leaked database, which also reveals at least three federal agencies - the FBI, the US Marshals Service and the federal probation office in New Mexico - as registered users. ![]() 'To catch pedos,' writes one officer, apparently tongue-in-cheek. Objectives for the operations vary, according to the leaked data. “Transient” is the sole safety reason in two other instances, according to the leaked data. ![]() “MH issues, Prior Navy” lists one entry in the database for an apparent sex offender. ODIN users had logged mental health problems and depression as threats to officer safety, according to the database. The leaked records also appear to offer a glimpse into how officials perceive danger. Another service, which tracks homeless people, was criticized last year after Vice News reported one of ODIN's brochures said homelessness can cause 'degradation of a city's culture.' Bloomberg's review of the leaked database found a small number of homeless individuals tagged in the system, along with their photos and other details. ODIN's SweepWizard smartphone app lets police agencies coordinate raids. A spokesperson for the FBI, which is identified as another user in the database, declined to comment when asked about the bureau's aleged use of the technology and whether it was investigating the matter. We are cooperating with law enforcement agencies and working with outside experts to investigate this matter.”Ī representative for the San Bernardino police didn't respond to a message seeking comment. In response to a list of written questions from Bloomberg, McCauley said: “ODIN Intelligence is a small company that develops software to help communities link homeless people with resources, protect children from offenders and locate missing persons. ODIN is slated to be an exhibitor this year at the International Association of Chiefs of Police's annual conference. Since then, his company's user base grew to include more than 150 sheriff's offices and police departments, such as the San Bernardino police, records from the leaked database show. ODIN was founded in 2021 by Erik McCauley, a former probation officer and forensic analyst in Orange County, California. Initial details about the ODIN hack were reported earlier by Wired magazine. ![]() ![]() Travers declined to elaborate on the probe or the office's use of ODIN's technology. The leaked data shows his office had nearly a dozen users. The probation office for New Mexico's federal courts is now investigating the breach, chief Ron Travers told Bloomberg this week. “Unlike public officials, private actors are not democratically accountable to the public,” wrote Farhang Heydari, executive director of the Policing Project at NYU School of Law, in a 2021 paper. The attack on ODIN - its website defaced in the same hack with the slogan “ACAB,” short for “All Cops Are B****rds” - brings renewed attention to the growing constellation of private firms that help law enforcement agencies do their jobs, selling everything from analytical software to drones and other surveillance equipment. For instance, the database includes details of a multiagency child pornography sting in California that logged dozens of suspects with their names, addresses and dates of birth. More than 150 local, state and federal agencies had ODIN user accounts, according to the database, which also contains thousands of records detailing police sweeps, notes about operational “targets” and users' credentials. ![]() 5/30/2023 0 Comments Aural hematoma![]() ![]() Associations between ear carriage within breeds and the risk of aural haematoma suggest that trauma along the line of cartilage folding within V-shaped and semi-erect ears may trigger aural haematoma. ![]() Increasing age, increasing bodyweight and breeds with V-shaped drop and semi-erect ear carriage also showed increased odds of aural haematoma.
